Adaptive Technologies, Inc. was incorporated in 1979 under the name of Ohio Tool Products. The main focus was on the design and manufacture of tooling for the oil industry. As we grew and diversified into other markets and products with a strong emphasis on engineering, the name Ohio Tool Products no longer seemed appropriate. In 1981 we changed our name to the present Adaptive Technologies, Inc.

Over the years, Adaptive Technologies has designed and manufactured machines that perform a wide variety of functions for a broad cross section of industry. These include automotive, aerospace, medical, refrigeration, and numerous consumer products. We have designed and manufactured machines to test the hydraulic prop control systems on aircraft, computer controlled machines to test hydraulic shocks used in artificial legs, computer controlled gauging systems for the precise automated measurement of production parts, and complete assembly lines for drum brakes. These are just a few examples of the design and manufacturing capabilities of ATI.

ATI's main focus today is in three interrelated areas:

  • The design and manufacture of special machines used for assembly and testing of production parts.
  • The design and manufacture of turnkey machine tool systems for the production of product parts.
  • The design and manufacture of work holding tooling and fixture systems.

ATI is an engineering driven company. We like to solve manufacturing problems through sound engineering practices using proven technologies.

In January of 1999, ATI moved into a new facility constructed in Springboro, Ohio at 375 Sharts Road. We have a complete machine shop with CNC equipment, including wire EDM and a large assembly area.
